Chizuru is meek, shy, and humble country girl. As she is introduced into the story, she is intrigued by beauty, particularly the transfer student straight from Tokyo- Kanae. At first, she wanted to be more like Kanae due to the lack of confidence in her appearance and the growing distance between her close friends after Kanae arrived. She becomes immediately mesmerized by Kanae's beauty in which admiration quickly turns into intense affection.
