Mu Xiang, a schizophrenic artist, finds himself in a creepy old house when he delivers his artwork to a client. Rescued by the police after being attacked by unknown creatures, he is accused of murdering the dead people found in the house. However, Mengzhi Nalan, the police in charge of this case, soon finds out that mutated monsters may be the real culprit and the whole thing can be traced back to a mysterious bushfire that took place 20 years ago.
