Hikari Asano, who lives in present-day Tokyo, meets Shoen Kimatsu, an artist who draws only landscape paintings and stubbornly refuses to draw portraits, at a park where a series of bizarre murders have occurred, and the two fall in love. However, their happiness does not last for a long time. Kimatsu suffers from dissociative identity disorder, and the other Kimatsu is an impulsive murderer. Before Kimatsu can hurt Hikari, he chooses to kill himself. While he thinks of drawing a portrait of his beloved girl…
