A calamity known as the "Data Crash Incident" has descended upon Earth. Those who pass the trials will gain power and status, while the failures will get torn to shreds. Several rounds later, the War God Wei Chen finally succumbs to a mishap and falls in battle. But instead of dying, he's brought back to the time before the Incident. In addition, he gains a miraculous "Death System" which allows him to earn Death points. With enough points, he can revive himself after death and becomes stronger upon each resurrection.
