Perhaps this is why the entire world lives in fear of “Deviants”, a rare species of seemingly normal humans that have been blessed with supernatural abilities. But, because of the inability to coexist peacefully, Deviants have gone into hiding for the past few years in order to avoid persecution and possible death. Jace's life has always been chaotic.
